You Have an Appointment…

…with Death!
Are You Ready?

We don’t like to think about death, do we?  But death is a reality that all must face.  The Bible says, “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.”
(Hebrews 9:27)

Since death is certain, you must prepare for it.  No one knows when death may come.  You may not be here tomorrow when the sun comes up.
“Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring forth.”
(Proverbs 27:1)

Life is short–and death can come very suddenly.  “…you do not know what will happen tomorrow.  For what is your life?  It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”
(James 4:14)

Here’s How to Get Ready

Admit that you are a sinner.  “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
(Romans 3:23)

Believe that Jesus Christ died to save you from your sins.  “But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

(Romans 5:8)

Receive Jesus Christ as your Savior right now by asking Him to forgive your sins and come into your heart and save you. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans 10:9)

“So they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,
and you will be saved, you and your household.”
(Acts 16:31)

Your appointment could be at any moment–you are only one breath away from eternity!  “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
(II Corinthians 6:2B)
