Our Young Adults are taught by Matt Glunt in the Activity Classroom.

“Classics at Colonial”

Our third-annual concert of classical music sung and played by our own here at CHBC (held Friday, March 1st, 2024). It’s a unique joy to hear beautiful music performed to bless our congregation, and many friends and family visit for this event.

Junior Church

Kids’ Bible story and song time during our Sunday morning worship for ages four years through second grade.

 Ladies Annual Conference

We have joined hearts and hands for over a decade with three other area churches for a combined all-day women’s conference each September. Colonial Hills hosted this year’s conference on September 14, 2024–we were  reminded that we can still be “Singing in the Rain.” (The 2023 conference was beautifully hosted by Grace Baptist Church in Liberty, SC. Agnew Road Baptist Church will host the conference in 2025.)

Ladies “Bible & Breakfast”

Our ladies gather every couple of months to enjoy a Bible study with breakfast. Dates for 2024 are February 3rd, April 6th, June 1st, August 3rd, and November 2nd. Come enjoy breakfast and sweet fellowship while learning from the Word of God!

Master Club

“Teaching our Kids to Serve the Master” on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:15 PM (from September to April) for ages three years to sixth grade. Your child will enjoy Rally Time, Bible Time, Game Time, Costume/Character nights, our annual March Pine Car Derby, using their points in the Master Club “store” as they earn awards to display on their Master Club vests while learning how to serve the Lord in the church! Twice a year our Master Club kids visit our Midweek service to bless us and share with us some of what they’ve learned. Registration is available on the home page (look for the brightly colored Master Club logo).

Men in the Gap

Our men meet together for prayer and breakfast once a month during the school year. Monthly Zoom prayer meetings facilitate our men meeting for prayer from anywhere. The Men’s Annual Cook-Out was held in July. Prayer Breakfasts and Zoom Prayer Meetings are held regularly.

Missions

CHBC supports thirteen missionary families around the world.

If you are a missions candidate (on deputation or on furlough) and you would like to contact our church about visiting CHBC to present your ministry, please click on the “Contact Us” section at the very bottom of our home page –we will be in touch with you soon. Thank you!

Nursery

Ministry Safe-certified care in newly painted and carpeted nurseries during all our services for little ones from newborn to three years old. A private and clean nursing mothers’ room is available for all services.

Outreach

An Evangelism and Discipleship program offers many printed resources free of charge. Please visit the Evangelism and Discipleship Resource Room on the lower level of our main building.

We minister at the Greenville Rescue Mission every other month to celebrate the men’s birthdays with a party and gift bags while sharing the Gospel.

We assemble and pack “Good Samaritan” bags for our church family to bless the homeless.

We schedule regular food/meal gifts to our Taylors Fire Department to bless our firefighters.

We host donation drives, and some of our ladies make handmade baby items for Piedmont Women’s Center. CHBC furnished a healthcare room at PWC.

We regularly pick up litter on Taylors Road to bless our neighbors and community,

Sunday School

For all our children, from age 2 years and up, beginning
at 9:30 am Sunday mornings.

Young Adults

Sunday morning Bible studies, monthly activities, and many other opportunities to serve in our music program, to serve our little ones, to serve our senior saints, and to participate in many community outreach ministries. Monthly Movie & Game Nights are a wonderful time of fellowship and fun!

Young at Heart

Our Young at Heart (ages 55 and better) have enjoyed lunches at Silver Bay Seafood, Lil Rebel Family Restaurant, and Stax Omega. Monthly “Bring-Your-Own-Lunch” at the church is scheduled for several months in 2024 when we are blessed to hear the testimony of one or two of our senior saints. Occasional out-of-town activities are planned (the Billy Graham Library was an encouragement and inspiration in October, 2023). There are many opportunities for service and fellowship at CHBC for our Young at Heart.

Young Marrieds

Our Young Marrieds enjoyed a couples-only supper and fire pit at a family home in January and a potluck feast in February. An autumn family cookout is planned for Saturday, October 26th, and a Christmas fellowship is scheduled for December 7th, 2024.
