We believe we have been left here on the earth to glorify our heavenly Father in how we live our lives (I Cor. 10:31). At CHBC, we believe one way we can glorify our heavenly Father is by proclaiming the Gospel and living the Gospel before other men (Acts 1:8; Matt. 5:14-16). Our vision is to see people saved and discipled, so they in turn can lead others to Jesus Christ and see them discipled (Matt. 28:19-20; II Tim. 2:2). Our goal throughout each calendar year is for each CHBC member to lead two people to Jesus Christ and disciple them or insure they are discipled.
For many of us we may never go to a foreign land to preach the Gospel, but there are some who can, and we count it a special privilege to prayerfully and financially support some who have gone or are going to preach the Good News to a lost and dying world.

The purpose of this ministry: To celebrate the birthdays of the men who reside at the Greenville Rescue mission with the goal of presenting the Gospel to them. We celebrate the birthdays of the men every other month throughout the year (6 times per year). We provide a dessert such as cake, cookies, or brownies along with ice cream and toppings. We provide decorations to make this time of celebration a special time for the men. After serving the refreshments, we mix and mingle with men in order to meet them and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Rescue Mission Outreach

The Purpose of the Kitchen Ministry: Following the example of Christ Who demonstrated compassion when people were hungry (Mark 8:2) and served others in their time of need (Mark 8:6-7), the CHBC Kitchen Ministry exists to aid the CHBC leadership with the organization of special events, luncheons, banquets, etc. and to demonstrate and encourage hospitality and compassion to others.CHBC Kitchen
Colonial Hills Baptist Church has the privilege to serve in the Taylors community by picking up trash along Taylors Road which runs directly in front of the church. We have adopted this road through a Greenville County program called “Adopt-A- Road”. Four times per year, we volunteer to pick-up trash.Road Clean-Up
The purpose of the Mission Committee is as follows:
If interested in contacting the Missions Committee, use the following email address: [email protected]
Note: Missionary candidates requesting a meeting should contact the church office by going to the “Reach Out To Us” page.
The following missionaries are supported by Colonial Hills Baptist Church.
‘How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! ‘
Purpose: A ministry of CHBC to be an encouragement and help to our missionaries by providing some of their basic needs.
How does it work? A missionary or missionary family who is with us at the church for a Sunday or a period of time is taken to the missions’ closet to select personal, basic items such as shampoo, etc.
This closet is supplied by the people of CHBC and is overseen by the Joyful Missions of CHBC.
