The Purpose of the Kitchen Ministry:
Following the example of Christ Who demonstrated compassion when people were hungry (Mark 8:2) and served others in their time of need (Mark 8:6-7), the CHBC Kitchen Ministry exists to aid the CHBC leadership with the organization of special events, luncheons, banquets, etc. and to demonstrate and encourage hospitality and compassion to others.
- The Kitchen workers help organize and implement all fellowships.
- The Kitchen Crew consists of a committee of several ladies who are willing to serve and work in the church kitchen in any capacity. They assist the deacons and those in their groups with setup, decorations, serving, and clean up.
- We have various events and fellowships throughout the year: luncheons and suppers during special holiday seasons (Ex. Thanksgiving and Easter) as well as throughout the year on Sundays or Wednesdays. Also, we have special fellowship events with light refreshments such as ice cream and toppings, etc.
Visitors are always welcome!
Our goal is to make each visitor feel comfortable and welcome at CHBC where it is a good place to visit, but a better place to belong.
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do,
do all to the glory of God.
